Debbie Dziamnski

Dr. Debbie Dzimianski

D.V.M

Dr. Dzimianski, aka “Dr. D,” has been in Veterinary Medicine for over 40 years as a proud UGA alumnus. During those years, she and her husband homeschooled eight children while living on a dairy goat farm and raising health-tested Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian dogs. While rearing children, she had a house call and outpatient practice while her husband, Dr. Mike, saw farm animals in addition to his Parasitology Research career at the University of Georgia.

Dr. D loves taking the time to interact with people and their pets and enjoys problem-solving and troubleshooting the right solutions for each individual case. Each patient is unique and deserves a treatment plan that works for them and their families. She loves wellness care and getting each pet off to a great start when young, then keeping them healthy through preventatives, nutrition, and screening tests at regular intervals. Dr. D loves her sweet canine patients but has a penchant for cats! When not working on the farm or at the clinic, Dr. D loves to travel and takes several trips a year to visit family and enjoy the broad expanse of our country and places abroad.

Freeway

Freeway

Clinic Cat

Freeway has been the clinic mascot since 2016. Many of our clients call him “Tripod” due to having three legs. But that has not slowed him down. He loves to make laps around the clinic as our official greeter. His favorite pastimes are sunning himself and enjoying a delicious treat. Freeway has helped save many lives over the years as a blood donor. He is a special boy.

Sassafras was born in 2021 and is our second official clinic cat. She can usually be found napping in her bed on the desk or watching clients from her perch on the counter. She has a very kitten-like personality and enjoys spending time with Freeway, snacking on freeze-dried minnows, and observing the activities of the day.
